Position: Upper School Part-time Social Studies - Long-term Substitute
Reports to: Upper School Principal
Position Overview
Marshall School seeks a dynamic and versatile educator to be a long-term substitute for spring semester for three sections of high school social studies. The courses will meet every other day.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in History, Social Studies, Political Science, Geography or Education or similar.
- A love for teaching adolescents, a passion for social studies education, and a commitment to student-centered education.
- A strong desire to work closely with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years prior teaching experience
- A master’s degree is preferred.

This is a .6 position for one semester. The numbers below represent a full 1.0 salary range for a full year.
00-10 years $34,619 - $48,691/year
11-20 years $47,340 - $56,908/year
21-30 years $55,214 - $65,035/year
31-40 years $61,055 - $69,163/year
