Job Responsibilities:

Promptly and professionally answers and routes incoming telephone calls; provides accurate information, transfers calls, and offers voicemail or alternative solutions as needed

Greets patients, visitors, and staff; provides direction and assistance while maintaining a welcoming environment

Supports front desk operations including check-in/check-out, patient registration, and insurance verification as applicable

Assists with scheduling appointments across departments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to provider templates and guidelines

Supports referral management functions including intake, documentation, follow-up, and coordination of care
-
Maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
-
Adapts quickly to different departmental workflows, systems, and expectations

Maintains a clean, organized, and professional workspace
-
Provides coverage across departments as needed based on operational demands

Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
-
Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or healthcare operations preferred

Experience with scheduling, referrals, or front desk operations in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
