This position is part-time, as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Promptly and professionally answers and routes incoming telephone calls; provides accurate information, transfers calls, and offers voicemail or alternative solutions as needed
  • Greets patients, visitors, and staff; provides direction and assistance while maintaining a welcoming environment
  • Supports front desk operations including check-in/check-out, patient registration, and insurance verification as applicable
  • Assists with scheduling appointments across departments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to provider templates and guidelines
  • Supports referral management functions including intake, documentation, follow-up, and coordination of care
  • Maintains confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
  • Adapts quickly to different departmental workflows, systems, and expectations
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and professional workspace
  • Provides coverage across departments as needed based on operational demands
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Experience with scheduling, referrals, or front desk operations in a healthcare setting strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor with a patient-centered mindset
  • Basic computer proficiency (EHR experience preferred)
