What are the responsibilities and job description for the Express Driver/Warehouse Material Handler position at Marshall E. Campbell Company?
ROLE:
A Material Handler/Driver is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within a warehouse or production environment. This role involves receiving incoming shipments, verifying inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate locations in a timely manner. The Material Handler/Driver operates equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, maintains accurate records, and follows safety procedures to support smooth and reliable operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately and proficiently handle the receiving of material from suppliers
- Accurately and proficiently put material away in the correct location
- Fill and package customer orders with complete accuracy and professionalism
- Able to take delivery routes and run those efficiently using the processes set up by the company (proof of delivery).
- Follow different types of process and product training and to be able to absorb that knowledge and apply it to your job.
- To constantly come up with ways that the company can continuously improve our processes and service to our customers.
- Must be able to meet company expectations in performing all tasks and must be able to follow company work instructions correctly and consistently.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma
· Valid driver’s license with the expectation of obtaining and maintaining chauffeur’s accreditation, with a clean driving record.
· Obtain and maintain a DOT Medical card.
· An understanding of warehouse material flow processes and experience working with integrated computer and scanner processes preferred.
· Some electrical/mechanical experience preferred

Work Schedule: 5-day work week, Monday thru Friday, with an occasional weekend requirement for special projects or customer deliveries. Some overtime possibly required to meet customer and company needs. Shifts are determined by the warehouse manager and can start as early as 6:00am and can end as late as 7:00 pm
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
