- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and other relevant accounting standards such as ASC 606.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
- Manage regulatory reporting obligations for governmental agencies and ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to support long-term growth initiatives.
- Supervise treasury management activities including investment management, liquidity planning, and cost control measures.
- Provide leadership in financial report writing and interpretation to inform executive decision-making on profit & loss performance, revenue management, and cost management strategies.
- Implement effective internal controls for compliance management and risk mitigation across all financial operations.
- Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
- Proven experience in corporate finance or public accounting with a strong foundation in financial concepts such as ASC 606, IFRS, IAS, GAAP, and accrual accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and treasury management.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and profit & loss management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide teams through complex financial processes while fostering collaboration.
- Proficiency in financial software systems coupled with technical accounting skills for accurate bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Effective communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and interpreting complex data for diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
