Position Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Design Specialist with experience in proposal development to support our marketing and business development efforts. This role focuses on the design and production of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to clearly and compellingly communicate our work and qualifications. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design and collateral development skills with an understanding of the proposal production process in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality proposal documents (RFQs, RFPs, interview presentations)
- Translate technical and narrative content into clear, visually engaging layouts, diagrams, and infographics that align with our established graphic standards
- Collaborate with proposal leads, architects, and consultants to develop cohesive submission materials
- Maintain and evolve proposal templates, brand and graphic standards, and visual identity
- Format resumes, project sheets, and supporting materials
- Support additional marketing efforts, including presentations, brochures, and digital content
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks across concurrent pursuits
Qualifications
- 2 years of professional graphic design experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting proposal development (AEC or professional services preferred)
- Advanced proficiency and working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required; Illustrator and Photoshop highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an architecture, design, or AEC environment
- Familiarity with data visualization, infographics, or mapping tools
- Experience working with and creating brand guidelines and template systems
- Interest in storytelling through design within a collaborative studio setting
- A four-year degree preferred in a related field
