Job Summary: The Coordinator of Personnel Services is a key member of the Marshall County Schools team responsible for providing administrative support to the Superintendent and Board of Education. This role involves coordinating the preparation of the Board agenda, performing personnel clerical duties, maintaining records and files, and providing information and assistance to District personnel, staff, and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Superintendent with administrative matters, including interviewing callers and exercising judgment in making decisions.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Board of Education agenda, ensuring proper content, format, order, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain official records of Board meetings, minutes, and actions.
- Provide research and coordination support to the Board of Education as needed, including policy questions and activities.
- Take and transcribe dictation, including confidential matters, and record proceedings at meetings.
- Remain current on issues, situations, and conditions of special interest to the Superintendent and Board members.
- Attend and participate in various administrative meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of responsible clerical experience, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office.
