Position Summary
The Marshall County Health Department is seeking a dynamic, community-focused Public Health Administrator to lead and manage daily operations while advancing public health initiatives across the county.

Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight of daily operations of the Health Department
Manage and administer local, state, and federal grants, including compliance, reporting, and budgeting
Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and services
Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and local organizations to address public health needs
Serve as a public health advocate and representative for Marshall County
Support and supervise staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment
Ensure compliance with Indiana Department of Health regulations and public health standards
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for the Board of Health and county officials
Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field
Demonstrated experience in administrative leadership and operations management
Knowledge of grant writing, management, and reporting processes
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
