Role Description Part time 4 days a week (25hrs) average, on-site Administrative Assistant role located in Moundsville, WV. The Administrative Assistant will provide daily support to staff and leadership by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing files and records. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, responding to general inquiries, and maintaining a professional and welcoming front office. The role will also involve preparing correspondence and reports, assisting with mailings and data entry, and supporting chamber events, meetings, and community activities. The Administrative Assistant will collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and consistent, courteous service to members and the public.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and calendar management.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and courteously with members, vendors, and visitors.
- Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance or supporting leadership, such as coordinating schedules, meetings, and basic reporting.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort learning new systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- Prior experience in an office, nonprofit, or membership-based organization is preferred but not required.
