This person will manage and produce internal and external events from conception through completion while providing outstanding client service in a fast-paced environment. The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,500 to $128,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

We will count on you to:
- Lead the planning of assigned meetings and events by establishing the vision and overseeing the ideation, planning, and execution processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders, requiring strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Identify, research, and secure meeting venues through site inspections and contract negotiations for hotels and special event spaces. Candidates must have experience in contract negotiation and effective collaboration with hotels.
- Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses during the planning process, review and process vendor invoices and wire transfers, and conduct post-event budget reconciliation. Experience in managing programs and financial oversight is essential.
- Take ownership of comprehensive event services, including venue management, contracting, timelines, attendee communications, registration, hotel arrangements, transportation, food and beverage, décor, speaker and sponsor coordination, AV/production, branding, mobile apps, off-site activities, shipping, and on-site supervision.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, and third-party providers, while staying informed about new restaurant openings and changes in ratings or head chefs to maintain high standards in event execution.
- Post-Event Evaluation: gather feedback from attendees, analyze event metrics, and prepare post-event reports to improve future events and measure the effectiveness of event strategies.
- Support the department head in developing ways to optimize and streamline the event planning process, standardize budget tracking, and control expenses, leverage event technology, analyze event success, and improve attendee experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of full-time Event Management experience, with a strong emphasis on corporate event planning and C-suite experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must reside in the NYC tri-state area and have experience with both in-person and hybrid events. Willingness to travel for site visits and manage events on-site is required, along with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and extended hours during event seasons
- Travel is required for this role. Approximate amount of travel per year is 20%.
- Ability to lift materials/objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
- This is a hybrid role that requires at least 4 days in our New York City office.

- Must possess strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, demonstrating outstanding performance in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Experience with meeting management software such as Cvent is a plus.
