The Assistant Manager supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Assists with cash and inventory controls. Schedules and supervises staff. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
* Responsibilities: * * Ensures excellent customer service is provided * Ensures company policy is followed by all employees * Trains co-workers * Troubleshoots POS system * Assigns and participates in completion of shift * Helps manage staff * Coordinates and supervises staff so that standards of cleanliness are maintained * Supervises food preparation to ensure that food safety and operations standards are maintained * Performs paperwork duties as needed. Requires excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with all levels of employees. Possesses a strong work ethic and is highly dependable. Computer knowledge is desirable. Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
