What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Member Services position at Marsh Landing Country Club?
Job details:
- Greets and welcomes all members, prospective members, visitors and vendors in a professional and courteous manner and, where possible, by name.
- Assists in maintaining a culture and atmosphere within the Club that is conducive to excellence in member/guest service and relationships.
- Assists in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance of the Lobby ensuring that newsletters and flyers are orderly and available.
- Handles all the copying, folding, labeling, stuffing and sorting for bulk mail and all correspondence to members regarding Club activities including newsletters and flyers.
- Acts as secretary to the Club, which includes the drafting and typing of correspondence as requested by the General Manager or Department Heads.
- Maintains a calendar of club functions.
- Answers the telephone and communicates information to callers in a pleasant and professional manner. Forwards calls to appropriate department or take messages as necessary with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Represents the General Manager and the Club to the members, guests and employees in a professional and businesslike manner.
- Collect and distribute mail and messages.
- Accurately records reservations for lunch, dinner and special club functions or activities.
- Manage Member Enrollments, and be able to provide tours for new and prospective members. Collect and process membership applications.
- Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
