What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- High degree of self-direction, learning agility, and willingness to drive change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Experience collaborating across functions and influencing stakeholders.
- Reporting Cycle Ownership: Lead the full reporting cycle, including data extraction, transformation, and management financial reporting. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of all financial reports and dashboards.
- Advanced Analytics & Technical Enablement: Utilize advanced Excel skills and, where possible, tools like Alteryx, SQL, and Power BI to automate, streamline, and enhance reporting processes. Champion the adoption of new technologies and best practices in financial analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage overheads reporting and budgeting processes locally and within corporate. Lead periodic reviews with all overhead functions and ensure robust communication of financial performance.
- Period Close & Reconciliation: Oversee all period close entries and reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Maintain and enhance financial systems and master data integrity.
- Business Partnering: Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams, providing financial, operational, and analytical support. Collaborate closely with business leaders to align financial forecasts and targets with business objectives.
- Compliance & Template Management: Ensure all reporting templates meet legal entity and compliance requirements. Provide training and support to ensure data quality and process adherence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison with Mars Snacking finance teams to coordinate SAP master data governance, troubleshoot system issues, and implement process improvements related to financial master data management.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across FP&A activities. Lead special projects as assigned.
