The Sanitation Operator is responsible for all sanitation activities in accordance with Q&FS standards, QMP procedures, and site master sanitation schedule requirements. This role ensures the effective use of chemicals, cleaning processes, and sanitation equipment.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Previous experience in a sanitation related role
- Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
- Technical degree or certifications
- 2 years in a sanitation related role
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of specific pieces of equipment, buildings, and site.
- Maintain accurate records of PMs, other sanitation activities, and scrap destruction
- Complete all documentation in an accurate/quality matter
- Complete required safety, quality, and food safety training
- Adhere to all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
- Additional duties and responsibilities throughout the plant as assigned by Supervisor
- Pay Range: $22.20/hour
