RtR Functional Expert - Digital Core (f/m/x)

The RtR Functional Expert will be responsible for sub-process within the Process Tower of R2R – General Accounting and Period End Close to support the development of a comprehensive end-to-end process design and build, facilitated by core and edge systems. The Functional Expert will leverage Mars' operational knowledge or CPG industry knowledge specific to General Accounting and Period End Close to ensure the Global Template is inclusive and meets Mars' requirements.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Leverage industry and Mars knowledge to identify critical business scenarios.

• Support the System Integrator (SI) in functional design of Core & Common Edge modules.

• Ensure completion, alignment, and approval of all functional design deliverables.

• Assist in processing documentation to ensure consistency and quality.

• Review test scripts, data, and execution for SIT and UAT, focusing on General Accounting and Period End Close processes.

• Collaborate on reporting strategies and develop a roadmap for ERP improvements.

• Identify organizational changes, define impacted personas, and support training development.

• Support the building, documentation, and testing of Shared Templates for releases, ensuring they meet pilot requirements.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for PetCare, validating key processes.

• Assist with security assessments, role definitions, and Fiori Apps assignments.

• Contribute to policy impact assessments and updates.

• Support data migration from source systems and design interim scenarios if needed.

• Aid in change impact analysis, persona identification, and training needs assessment.

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Accounting or IT.

• 8 years of professional experience in Finance and/or Systems roles.

• Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent IT qualification.

• Experience with S4 HANA implementations.

• Background in operational close processes at CPG companies.

• Familiarity with Smartsheet and Power BI.

• Experience with Signavio is nice to have.

• Fluent English.
