Location:
Royal Canin – Lebanon, TN
Required Shift:
- 12-Hour shifts, rotating schedule.
- Night shift is 6:00 pm to 6:30 am; 4 days on and 4 days off
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma / GED
- Forklift experience required
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachable
- Passion to work and learn in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to act with disciplined initiative
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- 1 years’ experience within manufacturing, technical and/or trade discipline
- Comfortable working with different business systems like SAP, ATMS and week plan.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
- Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
- Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
- Ensuring that Raw materials are available for production lines on time
- Communicate potential shortages to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain close contact with Operations team to ensure that there are no delays in manufacture
- Raise relevant escalations that have an impact on safety, quality and efficiency
- Shift differential of $3.00/hour
