Mechanical Assembly Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly and fabrication of mechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate assembly.
• Perform machining, welding, and soldering tasks as needed to complete assemblies.
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics to understand assembly processes.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform machining, welding, and soldering tasks.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
