Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise wireless network infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching environments.
- Support enterprise network upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and hardware issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain a secure and reliable network.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Participate in planned maintenance and on-site activities as needed.
- 5 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing and deploying enterprise wireless networks.
- Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
- Experience supporting mid-to-large enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in campus or higher education environments.
- Experience supporting large infrastructure refresh or modernization projects.
- Candidates located in Wisconsin or Northern Illinois are preferred.
- Hands-on technical engineer (not a network architect or manager).
- Passion for enterprise networking and infrastructure.
- Interested in a long-term Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
