Mars Security is an early-stage cybersecurity company building a new category of security technology, backed by deep hands-on experience from offensive security, threat intelligence, and security operations.

About The Role

Mars Security is looking for a driven, deal-closing Account Executive to join our founding GTM team. This is a high-octane, high-impact role - built for top performers only, with high benefits.

This is not a "spray and pray" sales role. You'll be selling to security leaders who expect depth, credibility, and value in every conversation. You'll work hand-in-hand with the founders, with a direct line to product and leadership - and your feedback will shape how we go to market.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full closing motion: run product demos, manage evaluations, negotiate and close deals
  • Design and execute targeted outbound campaigns alongside our BDR function to build and maintain your own pipeline
  • Build deep relationships with security buyers (CISOs, Security Engineers, SecOps leads) and champion deals through complex procurement cycles
  • Drive upsell and expansion within existing accounts, identifying new use cases and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting in CRM
  • Collaborate closely with founders on deal strategy, objection handling, and competitive positioning
  • Act as the voice of the customer - feed market insights back to product and marketing
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly ARR targets

What We're Looking For

  • 3โ€“5 years of closing experience as an Account Executive / Sales in a cybersecurity company - mandatory
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a cybersecurity environment
  • Experience selling to security personas (CISO, VP Security, SOC leads, security engineers)
  • Comfortable running technical demos and navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts (upsell / expansion motions)
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape - you can hold a credible conversation about threats, tooling, and buyer pain points
  • Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and CRM-disciplined
  • Startup experience is a strong advantage - self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to operate without a large support structure
  • US-based, with ability to travel for key deals and offsites
  • Background in SOC, threat hunting, or threat intelligence is a strong plus
  • Experience as a Sales Engineer is a strong plus
