Job Description:
An installer is responsible for installing custom cabinetry, built-in units, and interior trim work in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires precise measuring, cutting, and fitting skills, along with a strong eye for detail to ensure clean, professional finished results on every job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install kitchen, bathroom, and custom cabinetry in residential and commercial settings
- Build and install built-in units (shelving, entertainment centers, closets, etc.)
- Install trim work including baseboards, crown molding, door/window casing, and wainscoting
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements accurately
- Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision
- Level, shim, and secure cabinets and built-ins to walls and floors
- Caulk, fill nail holes, and prep surfaces for a clean finished look
- Maintain tools and equipment; keep job sites clean and organized
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and client expectations
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing cabinets, millwork, or trim
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (nail guns, miter saws, table saws, levels, etc.)
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Punctual, dependable, and takes pride in workmanship
- Adhering to safety protocols on the job site and wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to remain positive and professional under pressure.
- Punctual and communicative.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
