What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visiting Professor of Business position at Mars Hill University?
Position: Visiting Professor of Business Reports to: Chair, Business Department Classification: One-year, defined term appointment Status: FT 10 months Summary: MHU is hiring a full-time faculty member to teach in the various programs offered by the business department. There is some flexibility regarding what courses will make up the 4-4 teaching load, based on the disciplinary specialty of the successful candidate. Requirements: A terminal degree is preferred, but significant weight is placed on business and teaching experience. Course possibilities range from Introduction to Business to Finance, and with the appropriate credentials, masters level Marketing and Strategy. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Teach four courses per semester. 2. Participate in some advising of majors. 3. Participate in ongoing departmental curriculum development. 4.
