As a new hospital, Mars Hill Pet Care provides a unique opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to contribute to the development of clinical standards, hospital culture, and workflow processes.
Position Overview
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical, surgical, and dental services for canine and feline patients while supporting the overall mission of the hospital. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to client education and patient-centered care. All experience levels are welcome to apply; mentorship is available for new graduates.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats
- Communicate clearly with clients to support understanding and compliance
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to best practice standards
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Support and contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
- Participate in community engagement and outreach as appropriate
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Georgia veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine
- Interest in contributing to the growth and development of a new practice
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply
