Production Assistant
Pay: $20.14+/HR(Based on experience) plus $1.50 shift differential

What will the shift be? *IMPORTANT*
May- September 2025
12 Hour rotating shift between days and nights (4 days "on" followed by 4 days off)
Day Shift: 6:30am-7pm & Night Shift 6:30pm- 7am
September 2025 +
2-2-3 schedule either day OR night shift
Day shift: 6:30am- 7pm
Night Shift: 6:30pm- 7am

Job Purpose:
The Production Assistant is responsible for a set of machines, pieces of equipment and/ or processes within our manufacturing facility.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or above
Mechanical aptitude and/or willing to learn and be trained on manufacturing equipment/machinery
Must be willing and able to work varying/rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-55 lbs) & pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs).
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.
Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs & lean over equipment.
Stand on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.
Fluent in English- Read, write, speak and understand

Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of hand on experience working in the manufacturing industry
Mechanical or technical training
Fork lift driving experience
What will be your key responsibilities?
Accountable for the performance and safety of several machines, processes, people or pieces of equipment in the plant
Starting-up, shutting-down, monitoring, cleaning, and carrying out basic changeovers, minor repairs, routine checks and inspections, and the use of basic ancillary equipment and computer programs.
Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover
Part of a shift team of up to 15+ associates contribute to achievement of targets
Compensation:
Pay based on experience: Starting at $20.14/Hr+
Shift differential of $1.50
