The ideal candidate has 4 years of hands-on experience managing personal injury files, including automobile accident and premises liability matters, and can move cases forward with minimal attorney direction while delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

·        Independently manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution (pre-suit and, as needed, litigation support).

·        Serve as a primary point of contact for clients; obtain updates, answer routine questions, and maintain regular communication while demonstrating professionalism and empathy.

·        Request, track, review, and organize medical records/bills; prepare medical chronologies, summaries, and case status updates.

·        Gather, organize, and maintain liability and damages evidence (police reports, photographs, insurance information, wage loss documentation, liens, etc.).

·        Draft and prepare correspondence and case documents including authorizations, discovery materials, subpoenas, and demand packages.

·        Coordinate with medical providers, experts, insurers, and opposing counsel; follow up proactively to keep files moving.

·        Monitor and calendar deadlines; maintain accurate electronic and physical files in accordance with firm procedures.

·        Assist attorneys with deposition, mediation/arbitration, and trial preparation as needed, including exhibit organization and hearing/trial binders.

Required Qualifications

·        4 years of paralegal experience handling plaintiffs personal injury matters, including automobile accident and premises liability cases.

·        Demonstrated ability to manage files with minimal attorney direction, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately.

·        Strong knowledge of personal injury case workflows, insurance claims processes, medical record review, and damages documentation.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication.

·        Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and deadline management in a fast-paced environment.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort learning case management/document management systems.

·        Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience supporting cases in Pennsylvania state and/or federal courts (including familiarity with e-filing and litigation deadlines).

·        Paralegal certificate or associates/bachelors degree in paralegal studies or a related field.

·        Comfort drafting and assembling demand packages and coordinating lien resolution (Medicare/Medicaid, private health insurance, ERISA, etc.).

·        Bilingual ability is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Philadelphia office and is not remote or hybrid. We are a high-energy, deadline-driven practice; success in this role requires reliability, strong follow-through, and a team-first mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

·        Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.

·        Full benefits package, including generous health insurance and retirement benefits.

·        Paid time off and paid holidays.

·        Professional, collaborative in-office team environment with opportunities to grow.
