What are the responsibilities and job description for the AM Concierge Lounge Attendant position at Marriott?
- Maintain Hotel Language to enhance sales and overall guest experience.
- Call all guests prior to arrival to the Hotel to confirm their bookings and anticipate any further needs they may have.
- Answers inquiries, offers suggestions, and provides descriptive literature pertaining to activities on and off property.
- Works on property with front of the house departments, maintaining a well established relationship to inform and implement guests' requests.
- Follows forecast determining arrivals of transient guests and to book and up sell dining and all amenities on property.
- Maintain prior call and amenity logs in a clear concise manner.
- Verify credit card authorizations for processing advance deposits.
- Operate reservations computer system. Accurately input and retrieve data.
- Use knowledge of overnight reservations computer system to obtain reports of arrivals, in house guests, and amenity item forecasts.
- Ensure all guest special requests and amenities are clearly noted on the guest reservation folder in the reservations system.
- Confirm all amenities and special requests have been communicated prior to guest arrival.
- Maintain amenity inventory and order supplies when needed with approval from manager.
- Achieve expert knowledge on all property activities
- Prepare personalized welcome letter for all hotel guests.
- Prepare VIP letters on a daily basis.
- E‐mail post departure thank you letter to all transient guests.
- Arrange Babysitting services at guests’ request.
- Promptly answer all e‐mails requesting rates and information regarding the hotel.
- Handles requests from General Manager, Directors, Sales and Event Planning Managers for VIP's such as amenity gifts, property tours, etc.
