Duties

• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and ensuring all equipment is spotless and ready for use
• Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and uphold health standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, moving equipment, and organizing storage areas safely
• Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers in accordance with safety guidelines
• Adhere to sanitation protocols and kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Experience

• Previous food service experience or familiarity with restaurant operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
• Experience with banquet or catering services can be a plus but is not mandatory
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing during busy periods
• Strong understanding of food safety management principles to maintain hygiene throughout all processes
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward hospitality service roles
• Prior experience operating kitchen equipment or knife skills are beneficial but can be developed on the job
