What You Will Do
As a Director of Food & Beverage, you will:
- Lead all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, catering, and culinary departments
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers and team members across food and beverage operations
- Monitor financial performance, labor costs, food costs, and departmental budgets
- Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, and health department requirements
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to develop menus, promotions, and guest experiences
- Analyze operational performance and implement improvements to maximize profitability
- Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and community partners
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost control initiatives
- Support banquet and catering operations to ensure successful event execution
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Director of Food & Beverage, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Manager, or similar leadership role
- Experience managing restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering operations within a hotel environment
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and beverage operations
- Experience with hotel property management and point-of-sale systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred
Certification Requirements
- Must obtain a valid Manager Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hire
- Must maintain all required certifications in accordance with state and company guidelines
Physical Requirements (Essential Job Functions)
This position includes both administrative and operational responsibilities. Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the property
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds
- Travel between restaurants, kitchens, banquet spaces, bars, and meeting areas
- Respond to operational needs during evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required
- Maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced hospitality environment
