Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies targeting the entertainment and sports segment to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize their potential and performance in this specialized market.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the entertainment and sports industries.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the entertainment and sports sectors to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless, tailored customer experiences for entertainment and sports clients.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts specific to the entertainment and sports segment to senior management.
- Represent Marriott Orlando Downtown at entertainment and sports industry events and networking functions.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably within the hospitality industry and with exposure to the entertainment and sports segments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them effectively, with a focus on entertainment and sports clients.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
