Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, HEI Hotels & Resorts. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Assistant Director of Finance will work with the Director of Finance in directing the financial activities of the hotel, safeguarding the assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and HEI Hotels and Resorts / Marriott Hotels standards.
Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications and skills:
B.S. in Accounting
One year experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting
Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.
Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy.
Sound administrative and managerial skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
Have proficient training, coaching, and counseling abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

The salary range for this position is $82,000 to $85,000 annually.
