The Food & Beverage Server Assistant's responsibilities include following a daily schedule, performing proper set-up, maintenance, break-down and cleaning of the breakfast area; responsible for providing excellent guest service and satisfaction.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting food and beverage servers in all aspects of customer service
- Transporting dishes from kitchen to dining area
- Providing thorough and timely assistance when needed
- Following health and safety standards to maintain sanitation
- Stocking cups, plates, cutlery, and condiments
- Ensuring food is prepared to order, presented and packaged correctly
- Wiping down tables and chairs to maintain cleanliness
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Providing guests with info about food and beverage options
- Delivering restaurant items to guests in a timely manner
What we’re looking for:
- Have achieved a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Flexible availability
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
