Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential.
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities in community settings.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, mental health counseling techniques, and crisis management strategies.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health record systems compliant with HIPAA.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver psychotherapy effectively across diverse populations including children and families.
- Experience applying applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or trauma-focused interventions such as PTSD care is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflicts constructively while fostering trust and rapport with clients and their support networks.
