We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our growing team and help deliver an outstanding repair experience for every customer.
Position Summary
The Auto Body Estimator is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed repair estimates, and working closely with customers, insurance companies, and our production team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.
- Inspect damaged vehicles and determine all required repairs.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive repair estimates using CCC ONE, Mitchell, or similar estimating software.
- Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals for repair estimates and supplements.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts personnel to ensure accurate repair planning and parts ordering.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, supplements, repair documentation, and customer communications.
- Provide timely updates to customers and insurance partners regarding repair status.
- Work closely with the production team to help reduce cycle time while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow OEM repair procedures and company quality control standards.
- Must have experience working on DRP program with insurance companies such as GEICO, ALLSTATE, STATEFARM etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Estimator or in a similar collision repair role preferred.
- Proficiency with CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or comparable estimating software.
- Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures, vehicle construction, and insurance claim processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
