Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a hands-on working manager, balancing field oversight with active participation in on-site construction activities
Manage day-to-day construction operations across multiple projects
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Supervise and coordinate skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and other craft professionals
Provide clear direction and oversight on layout, framing, installation, and finishing work
Ensure work aligns with project specifications, dimensions, and material requirements
Lead teams in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant job site
Adapt to changing project conditions, timelines, and priorities with a solutions-oriented mindset
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment and partner with Accounting to ensure cost accuracy
Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience
3–7 years of construction management or related experience
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
Proven leadership experience managing crews and skilled trades
Hands-on experience in a construction-related trade (e.g., carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
Ability to oversee multi-trade work and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proficiency with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
Working Conditions
Able to work a flexible work schedule with varying days and hours, including call-ins.
Able to work outdoors in all seasons and work at heights.
Physical requirements
Able to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 100lbs

Compensation & Benefits
The starting wage for this position is $100,000 annually with potential adjustments based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
