Home Health Aide Or Personal Care Aide Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities.
- Support light housekeeping and daily living tasks.
- Ensure client safety, including proper use of equipment (side rails, step stools, wheelchairs, oxygen, etc.).
- Accurately document services provided in accordance with agency policies on the day services are rendered.
- Communicate promptly with the RN Supervisor regarding any changes in the client's condition or incidents.
- Participate in the supervisory process as required by NYS law.
- Maintain client confidentiality and protect the integrity of client records.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and families.
- Adhere to agency dress code and professional hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.
