The College of Nursing invites candidates with clinical expertise and strong clinicalteaching skills to submit applications for this 12-month position. This position requires teaching undergraduate/prelicensure and graduate students and includes providing service to the College, academic community and the nursing profession.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical and didactic theory instruction in the BSN, Master’s of Science in Nursing Direct Entry, or other graduate programs. A commitment to continued development of excellence in teaching and service.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated potential for clinical teaching within the medical/surgical area of nursing. The candidate should be forward thinking and committed to preparing the next generation of nurses for excellence in practice. D.N.P. or PhD preferred.
