Moving Crew Team Member
Marquette Movers is hiring dependable and motivated individuals to join our moving crew. This position requires heavy lifting, long days, and consistent physical effort while providing professional white-glove service to our customers.
New hires start as Moving Crew Members with opportunities to advance to Driver and Team Lead positions based on performance, reliability, and leadership.
Applicants should live within driving distance of Marquette, MI, where our base of operations is located.
Marquette Movers primarily specializes in household goods moving throughout the Upper Peninsula, with additional work including over-the-road moves throughout the Midwest, commercial moving, last-mile delivery, packing, and crating.
Requirements:
- Able to safely lift and move heavy furniture and household goods
- Willing to work 10 hour days when the job requires it
- Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
- Professional attitude and appearance with all clients
- Able to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team
- Ability to use basic hand tools for furniture disassembly and reassembly
- Ability to safely and efficiently pack and load a moving truck
