Key Job Accountabilities
- Lead advanced financial underwriting, valuation, and sensitivity analysis for multifamily and mixed-use acquisition opportunities.
- Evaluate deal structures, pricing, and return metrics to assess risk-adjusted investment performance.
- Review and validate underwriting assumptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with investment criteria.
- Conduct in-depth market and submarket analysis to support acquisition strategy and portfolio growth.
- Prepare and present investment analysis, memos, and recommendations for executive leadership and investment committees.
- Communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Mentor and support Acquisitions Analysts, strengthening overall analytical capabilities and underwriting standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisitions, Asset Management, and leadership teams throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting models, processes, and analytical tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 2 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or related financial roles.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, preferably within multifamily or commercial real estate.
- Strong understanding of market analysis, deal structures, and risk assessment.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior talent.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
