About This Role:Medical device manufacturer in Cypress is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team! Ideal candidates would come from production warehouse or supply chain.Schedule:• Monday - Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30 PM, rarely on weekends• Business operation is 24 hours per day, 7 days per week$18 - $22/hrSpecific Job Responsibilities include:Follow HIPAA, ISO 13485, Joint Commission, and OSHA standardsFollow all work Instructions, SOPs, and safety requirementsExamine outgoing orders to ensure shipment meet specificationsCommunicate discrepancies between product and order, as neededVerify accuracy of the item number to quantity and solution corrections if neededCoordinate special shipping & handling requests with department and other cross functional teamsPrepare orders by validating address, affixing shipping labels, and packing return instructions into packed cartons or containersPost weights and shipping charges, and affix postageVerify accuracy of shipping notices, bill of lading, invoices, order, and other records. Solution correction, if needed.Prepare bills of lading and comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Inform manager of any foreseeable material shortages by communicating inventory of materials and supplies to other departments (such as supply chain, production, materials)Perform all warehouse responsibilitiesPerform daily cycle count and reconciling variances of raw materialsPrepare all domestic and international shipmentsOperate pallet jack Additional DutiesActively demonstrate “collaboration to win” by working as one team, proactively developing relationships, and working as one team to achieve department goals and objectivesMaintain compliance with principles of accepted employee conduct as identified in the employee handbook and code of conductPerform any duties assigned by manager or team leadParticipate in year-end inventoryComplete all required training in a timely manner using learning management systems: Brainshark, KnowB4, Mastercontrol and any training issued by the managerAid other employees as assignedNavigate programs and software: QAD, Sales Force, Splunk, Endicia, UPS Worldship and FedEx Manager.Maintain cleanliness of work area and warehouseConstantly push/pull/carry up to 20 poundsFrequently push/pull/carry up to 30 poundsOccasionally push/pull/carry up to 50 poundsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDExperience with Outlook EmailBasic computer keyboarding/navigation knowledgeFundamental workforce skills in computers and information processing: hardware, networks, security/privacy, application software, internet, Microsoft Access/OfficeDigital literacy Preferred ExperienceAt least 1 year of experiencein a manufacturing facilityin a medical device companyin a warehouse/shipping environmentin an ISO registered facilityAny experience comlying to quality system regulationsWorking knowledge QAD, Sales Force, Splunk, Endicia, UPS, FedEx ManagerCompany DescriptionMarquee Staffing has built a reputation on expert local market knowledge, unparalleled personalized service and the ability to deliver winning candidates and job opportunities.Marquee operates offices located conveniently throughout Southern California.
