Job Overview
We are a fast-growing bookkeeping firm seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks Online expertise to manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of commercial and film clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of juggling multiple client accounts with accuracy, while having a good time doing it. Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Maintain general ledgers and post journal entries
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation, resolve discrepancies, and provide updates
- Organize and manage files using cloud-based tools such as Google Drive
Qualifications:
- 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a client-service setting
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO certification strongly preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Excel
- Good overall technical skills and comfort with cloud-based platforms
- Experience using Keeper is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Professional communication skills
- Knowledge or experience in the Entertainment Industry is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
