This position is essential for maintaining our patient-first approach and ensuring that our community receives timely and effective medical care.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures as required.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record system (Experity - there will be training).Assist in managing urgent care operations to ensure efficient workflow.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care outcomes.Stay updated on best practices in urgent care medicine.QualificationsCurrent Physician Assistant license in California.Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings is preferred.Strong knowledge of medication administration and basic life support protocols.Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.Familiarity with electronic health record systems or computer savvy.Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.Why Work for MarqueWe are privately owned and operate urgent care facilities in Southern California.
