We have two different roles a Senior Analyst can be hired to in our GTM Strategy and Revenue Operations team: Sales Senior Analyst and Revenue Operations Senior Analyst. As Marqeta’s Sales Senior Analyst, you will analyze and interpret pipeline trends; design, develop, and manage reports and dashboards; and develop high-impact Executive reports to increase visibility and improve sales performance and productivity.
As Marqeta’s Revenue Operations Senior Analyst, you will perform Sales Commissions calculations (monthly, quarterly, annually), partner with management, HR, Finance and oversee/implement Sales Commissions plan, and support rev ops initiatives.
What You’ll Do (Sales Senior Analyst)
Reporting to the Planning Director on the GTM Strategy and Operations team, the Sales Senior Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting pipeline trends; designing, developing, and managing reports and dashboards; and developing high impact Management reports to increase visibility and improve sales performance and productivity.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify pipeline trends and insights; communicate key findings across teams and at all levels of management to improve transparency, sales performance and efficiency
- Design, develop, manage, and monitor reports, dashboards, and metrics in Salesforce, Looker, and other systems
- Develop high-impact presentation materials to support our Management reporting
- Leverage internal systems to automate reports and scale current/future processes whenever possible
- Provide troubleshooting and project support
What You’ll Do (Senior Revenue Operations Analyst)
Reporting to the Commission/Sales Planning Director on the GTM Strategy and Operations team, the Senior Revenue Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing commissions tool and reporting; support sales planning and quota management; automation/documentation of Salesforce processes.
The successful candidate possesses excellent analytical and problem solving skills, is detail oriented, and a self-starter with a positive attitude and strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Manage the commission's tools, reporting, and dashboard for accuracy and efficiency
- Support sales planning and quota management
- Support the Revenue Operations team with continued improvement of existing processes with a focus on automation and documentation
- Oversee the administration of sales commissions, ensuring timely and accurate payouts
- Support Sales team on Sales Compensation inquiries
What We’re Looking For
- Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience in Sales or Revenue operations and/or business consulting
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in Looker, SQL, and advanced Excel/Google sheets skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience building and customizing Salesforce.com reports and dashboards and performing analysis
- Positive attitude, adaptable, self-starter who is detail-oriented and has strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and build cross functional relationships
- Startup/high growth company experience with a proven track record of thriving in high-performing teams and fast-paced environments

Compensation and Benefits

To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States:
- National: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States.
- Premium: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA
- Premium Plus: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position is:
- National: $81,600 - $108,800
- Premium: $91,800 - $122,400
- Premium Plus: $102,000 - $136,000
