General Description

Join a dynamic, vibrant team and take your career in inventory administration to the next level! We are a rapidly growing, forward thinking global business at the forefront of the beauty industry. In this role you will be working with the manufacturing production team, providing administrative support to the purchasing and planning team to ensure efficient operations of the wider organization.

We are looking for an inventory specialist who is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems, with excellent communication, math and analytical skills, and the relevant computer software know-how. In this role, you can expect to work with associated documentation, complete tasks alone and in teams, manage multiple inventories, and report to and advise company management. The ideal candidate will also be able to work extended hours if needed, and have experience in building strong working relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and ensures complete accuracy and integrity of inventory on hand in warehouses and ERP inventory system
• Responsible for maintenance and management of the ERP inventory system
• Audits and inspects physical inventory, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and provides recommendations of processes to correct the efficient management of inventory
• Provides inventory reporting and insights into management of inventories, stock turns, fast and slow moving components, across, raw material, components, finished goods across multiple locations including 3rd party suppliers.
• A key business interface with purchasing, production and warehousing teams
• Ensures accurate records of goods received, transferred and outbound shipments made.
• Ensures all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned
• Performs other duties/tasks as assigned.

Minimum Educational/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• A combination of of education and experience may be considered

Other Skills:

• Experience in Netsuite or other ERP required
• Highly organized with strong time-management and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Google Docs applications or Microsoft equivalent
• Related work experience in the consumer goods a plus
• Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
• Attention to detail.
• Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time
