Student Council Advisor

Job Description: Developing leadership skills in students by delegating responsibilities and duties. The goal of the Student Council is to involve the student body in a variety of activities that foster school spirit.

Qualifications:
· Experience: Prior experience working with high school students and coordinating events and activities. · Skills: Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills. Supervision of students. · Education: Valid PA teaching certificate.

Essential Functions:
· Overseeing students during all activities and ensuring they follow the student council guidelines and school procedures. · Sharing information with all school stakeholders. · Planning and supervising school dances, spirit days, and other school functions. · Informing the community about school functions and student achievements. · Participating in relevant conferences, workshops, and research to stay current. · Listening to student concerns and working with the administration to find solutions. · Gathering calendars for sports, school, and holidays to plan dates for the student council events and activities. · Other duties as assigned by Administration. · Has read and understands obligations as outlined in MNSD School Board Policies.
