What's your day like?
As an Estimator at Marous Brothers Construction, you will play a pivotal role in our pre-construction phase by thoroughly analyzing drawings and specifications to develop accurate bids. Collaboration is key; you'll coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather competitive pricing, while preparing detailed quantity take-offs, bid breakdowns, and proposal documents. Attend pre-bid walk-throughs to ensure comprehensive bid coverage, and review proposals meticulously to qualify and summarize scopes of work. Your expertise will shine as you finalize the Bid Book, providing essential support for a seamless hand-off to our Project Managers. Additionally, you will assist with contract reviews and deliver ongoing project support, ensuring that our construction management processes remain efficient and effective. Are you the Estimator we're looking for?
To thrive as an Estimator with Marous Brothers Construction, you'll need a strong foundation in Construction Estimating, backed by a minimum of three years of experience. An excellent grasp of financial practices and accounting policies is essential, as is proficiency with computer-based programs that streamline the estimating process. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will enable you to analyze drawings and specifications effectively while collaborating with vendors and subcontractors. The ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines is crucial in our fast-paced environment. Familiarity with software such as Sage and On-Screen Takeoff, or similar programs, will enhance your performance in preparing accurate quantity take-offs and bid breakdowns. By harnessing these skills, you'll contribute significantly to our innovative approach in Construction Management and help us build a legacy of excellence.
