JOB REQUIREMENTS

LiUNA! is currently seeking Carpentry General Laborers to join us to work in Norfolk, VA on a short term project. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working for a Retail store setup contractor in a construction industry specializes in retail store setups, carpentry and complete site development under direct supervision of the foreman and skilled personnel.

Entry‑Level Carpenter – Retail Store Setup

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and installing retail fixtures (shelves, counters, displays).
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials under supervision.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely.
• Support senior carpenters with framing, trim, and finishing tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and organized during store setup.

Qualifications

• Basic carpentry knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

Preferred

• Experience in construction or retail build‑outs is a plus.
