Job Summary: We're seeking a highly organized and motivated Executive Assistant to support the owner and head coach at Marnie Cooper School of Acting. As an integral part of our school, you’ll manage an in-demand acting teacher's schedule, administratively support a handful of working young actors' careers, and provide exceptional support to our team.
About Us: At Marnie Cooper School of Acting, we nurture the talents of aspiring kid and teen actors with personalized guidance. With over 35 years of experience and an A-List client base, Marnie is dedicated to helping her students shine in the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Organization:
- Manage the executive's desk and daily schedule
- Book and schedule coaching sessions in person and over Zoom
Administrative Support:
- Answer phones and emails
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Provide administrative support to acting classes
- Support executive and team with any additional needs, including occasional personal assistance
Client Relations:
- Be the point of contact for the acting studio and management clients
- Interact comfortably and effectively with agents, casting representatives, acting students, and parents
Talent Management:
- Assist with talent coordination for two management clients
- Arrange audition schedules with talent representatives, talent, and/or guardians
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Outlook and QuickBooks
- Proficient use of Google Drive, Zoom, FaceTime
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities, multitask under pressure
- Self-motivated, proactive, resourceful
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Able to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience working in the entertainment industry or with talent management (a plus)
- Must love dogs!
