This position provides accounting support and analysis for corporate group and distribution facility. Responsible for the complex and interpretive financial analyses. Provides periodic reports and special studies for management. May be responsible for unit’s annual budget process, expense/service fee/staff forecasts, or statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Partner with warehouse leadership team to manage the day-to-day finance functions of the distribution center, including: Responsible for Accounts Receivables. Research short-paid invoices and follow thru to collection. Process customer returns and chargebacks. Accounts Payable processing including matching invoices, coding, and entering invoices, and processing payments. Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors. Handles accounts payable for separate entities and vendors. Manage inventory: maintaining perpetual inventory records, lead the effort for annual physical count, and collaborate with operation to establish best practices. Month end closing including journal entries, reconcile accounts, research, and resolve problems. Provide financial information and analysis to support management in financial decisions. Request for asset additions, asset disposals, and recording of related entries. Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and SOX. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Distribution center, or aftermarket auto parts industry highly desirable. Advanced Excel skills. ERP system knowledge. Syspro knowledge would be a plus. Strong analytical skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and develop relationship with external business partners. Works well in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently, to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines Self-motivated and take initiatives. Strong attention to detail. Flexibility and willingness to help where needed. TRAINING and EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance.
