Position Summary

Tyto Athene is searching for highly qualified Lead Policy and Strategy Planner - Senior to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Develops and aligns cyberspace plans, strategies, and policies with organizational missions.
• Analyzes policies, assesses needs, and collaborates with stakeholders to integrate strategies supporting goals.
• Responsibilities include drafting, publishing policies, guiding staff, monitoring policy application, auditing, and assisting the CIO in development.
• Requires knowledge of networking, security, emerging tech, and cybersecurity laws, with a focus on strategic policies for interoperable systems, C2 improvement, international collaboration, and decision-making aligned with USSOUTHCOM objectives and evolving frameworks.
• Support 24/7/365 operations at Doral, FL, COOP, Exercises, and Deployments
  
  

Core Responsibilities

Required

• 10 years of experience and HS or AA/AS or BA/BS or MA/MS
  
  

Desired

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  
  

Certification: Must meet at least one of the following certifications for each level:

• IAT Level III
• CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• CASP - CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner
• CSSP Analyst
• CEH-Certified Ethical Hacker
• GCIH-GIAC Incident Handler
