Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy construction equipment and small engines including lulls, grout pumps, trucks, forklifts, etc. using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake repairs, transmission servicing, hydraulic system repairs, and tire services to maximize equipment uptime.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, and hand tools to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Use power tools and specialized diagnostic equipment for precise repairs on engines and hydraulics systems.
- Maintain detailed service records for each piece of equipment including repair history, parts used, and scheduled maintenance tasks to support ongoing operational needs.
Preferred Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with heavy construction or industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of OEM parts, schematics interpretation, and automotive diagnostics.
- Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications.
- Proficiency in working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other heavy machinery.
- Mechanical expertise in transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical components.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members. Your mechanical expertise will be essential in supporting large-scale construction projects while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment that values safety, innovation, and teamwork.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
