What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Marmalade Cafe?
Marmalade Cafe is opening a new location in Santa Monica! We are looking for restaurant servers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
- Clear and clean tables after customers have finished their meals
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts or promotions is a plus
- Ability to sanitate tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
