Duties
- Greet customers warmly, offering product demos and personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with popular products
- Conduct upselling by suggesting complementary items to boost sales and meet customer needs
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking, product demos, and merchandising efforts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a grocery store or similar retail environment
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles within retail settings is a plus
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for communicating effectively with diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities are essential
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Experience in snokeshop products, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies will set you apart
